Hinchinbrook
Island is one of the world's most diversely beautiful wilderness areas. This 393
sq. km island lying off the Cardwell coast, halfway between Cairns and Townsville
in North Queensland Australia, is Australia's largest island National Park.
The climate
is humid tropical, with an average January (mid summer) temperature of 32 degrees
Celsius and an average July (mid winter) minimum of 13 degrees.
Take
a day cruise and discover mangrove everglades, deserted beaches, rainforest walks,
aboriginal history, crocodile and Dugong spotting. Book a fishing charter, bareboat
charter or bring your own boat to chase the much sought after barrumundi and other
tropical sportfish in this acclaimed anglers paradise.
Take
a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkel, fish or scuba dive this seventh
wonder of the world.

nearby waterfalls, historic trails, fresh water swimming holes, National Parks
